# Parking and access: how to talk it through calmly

A taken parking space, a blocked driveway: parking disputes come back every day, which makes them explosive. Wassit turns exasperation into a simple, repeatable request your neighbour can respect without losing face.

## What usually gets in the way

The problem repeats, so irritation builds up. The message that gets sent is rarely the first one: it is the tenth, and it carries the anger of the nine before it.

## Rephrasing example

**What you write** — “You are blocking my driveway again! Next time I am having your car towed.”

**What they will read** (Reviewed and approved by you) — “Party A has once again found their driveway blocked. They need to be able to get out freely and would like to agree with you on a way to stop this happening again.”

## The needs at stake

- Freedom to get in and out
- Reliability
- Agreements being kept

## What the AI does in this type of conflict

- Brings every complaint back to a concrete fact the other person can check.
- Removes personal attacks and threats (“I’ll call the building manager”).
- Turns demands into requests that can be negotiated.

## Four steps, and you stay in control at each one

1. **You write, as it comes** — No filter. This first draft stays between you and Wassit.
2. **The AI spots what hurts** — Judgments, comparisons, blame, threats: the four patterns that shut a conversation down.
3. **You review and choose** — Two or three rewrites. Keep one, edit it, or start over. If the message was heated, there's a short pause first.
4. **They read something they can hear** — With a note that you reviewed and approved it.

## Limits

If you feel threatened or unsafe, contact the authorities. Wassit does not replace an official report, legal advice or in-person mediation.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does the message stay firm?

Yes. Rephrasing does not mean giving in: the request stays clear, only the threat disappears.

### Can I attach a photo?

Yes, you can add attachments to the case. They are deleted along with it after it is closed.

### Does the other party see my original message?

Never. They only read the version you have reviewed and approved. If you paste aggressive text back into the suggestion, it is checked again before it is sent.

### What happens to my data?

Conversations are deleted automatically after the case is closed. You can withdraw your consent at any time from your dashboard.

## Ready to write the first message?

Your original message is never shown to the other party. Creating an account and opening your first case are free.
